Welcome to mutantspace
supporting the development and production of your arts projects and events
We provide practical support for Irish arts projects and events by giving you free access to our collective resources and skills. These collective resources and skills allow you to experiment, fail, make and play no matter who you are, where you are, what you do or when you do it.
We work on the gift economy principle. In other words rather than use money in exchange for goods and services we use our own skills and resources as an alternative form of economic exchange.
Everytime someone joins this resource we all get one step closer to turning it into a viable creative economy, a real alternative to the current economic arts structure that is based on state funding bodies, local authorities, bureaucracy and red tape
We're open to everybody and anybody and do not differentiate between the artist and non-artist, professional or amateur. So take your idea and run with it, make it happen and if you need support mutantspace.ie is here to help. It's free and easy to join. Do it now
We currently host a:
resource bank
scrap store

So have a look around, read more about us and join up, it's free and it's yours
We also host our own projects and events through this arts resource so keep an eye out for updates. To see what we got up to in 2009 and earlier this year check out our previous events page in our ezine
